THE BEGINNING...
IN case you haven't heard how this all got started.....
We were blessed to adopt four beautiful Nicaraguan children from 1999-2005 and as we visited this third world country there was no way we could forget all the children we left behind.....
The Lord did a wonderful work when he connected our hearts with the ministry of Child Evangelism Fellowship. They were looking for someone to help them meet the hunger needs of the children they were ministering to. After seeking the Lord we felt we could advocate for these precious children from our home in Va. So with YOUR help many needy kids get to have hot meals every week along with some other special care!
As we watch our own Nicaraguan children around our dinner table, we are often reminded of the days when they too, were dependent on someone to survive!

We have added two children to our family now, a beautiful little daughter from India and one from China.

Each day Yesenia and Peter Tigchelaar work tirelessly to fulfill the many responsibilities they have with CEF. We are blessed to have them to partner with. Their love of the gospel is evident in how they minister to the children!
